Wedge Wire Screen

A wedge wire screen is a metal filter product with high mechanical strength and a self-supporting structure. It is made of two parts, V-shaped profile wire and T-shaped (triangular) support rod, which is welded through the ring fusion welding process. The profile wire is the filtering surface, and the supporting rod plays a supporting role. Compared with other metal filter cores: Firm structure, stable filtration accuracy, not blocked, high opening area.

Wedge Wire Screens are manufactured by wrapping a profile wire cylindrically around longitudinal placed support rods. All wires and rods are resistance welded at each point of contact. The numerous combinations of wire profiles, support rods, flow direction and wide range of slots (fixed or variable) allow the manufacturer to design screens according your exact technical specification.
